A bit of an aside but when did virtue become bad thing ?
Its antonyms include evil and unfairness so why is signalling them at every turn better in your books ?

Virtue never became bad Deep, virtue is virtue ffs.
Virtue signalling is the act of talking a virtuous game in order to appear virtuous, there is a world of difference.
The world has virtuous people but it is not a virtuous place, you need to deal with it as it is, while trying to change things which need changing.
You can’t change things from a position of weakness.
It is noticeable that people who are really virtuous just get on with being virtuous and don’t feel the need to advertise their virtue every five minutes.
A classic example is all the eco warriors currently infesting the place and preventing people from earning a crust, while carrying on lifestyles completely at odds with their virtuous speech. They talk the talk from a position of comfort but seem unable to walk the walk.
Virtue signalling is the bedfellow of crass hypocrisy.
But Guff, I wasn't suggesting anything virtuous about myself, I was saying that your value system is shit. Which you've just confirmed by believing being anything other than a shit is a position of weakness. Its a dark place inside your head.
