That's Arry for you a real motivator!
A fine leader, no question. His loyalties were to get the best for the club and for the team but by having the player's best interests at heart also ("out of sight, out of mind") he cajooled an undervalued gem to come to Pompey.

So many times he did that for us.
Love him or loathe him, the game would be all the better for having him around but he probably realises that someone of his character and generation is well off out of it. 
It would only be a matter of time before some gekko from the Fourth Estate set him up. "What do you think of the women's game, Harry? Don't you think they should get equal pay?"
He is 74 now ... can't see him returning to the game at that age.
Probably not now although he would make a good Director of Football on a temporary basis. He really should have been given the England job. He would have made all the players believe they were World Beaters!
If he had that 2010 squad he would have done something with them 'fer shore'.
