We think we have a selection headache tomorrow but Gillingham have more first-teamers out and couldn't fill their subs bench midweek.

Given the other fixtures - Oxford v Rotherham, Plymouth v Wigan, Wednesday v Wycombe plus Sunderland and Charlton playing away - then 3 points for Pompey would put us in a great position to challenge for a spot in the play-offs.

However, Gillingham's never an easy place to go and the wintry conditions will make it a real challenge. Hope we can repeat the energetic approach shown at Lincoln and pick up all 3 points.

not sure if we can do that high energy game 3 times in a week, and a serious problem in central defence obviously.
If we can manage to keep a clean sheet that would be a serious achievement. If we do we will probably get a win.

Keep it on the deck, play through Morrell and kill them with the pace of Curtis and RHF.

I saw we have the 5th best defence without really having our defenders fit! With all the work DC does against the ball, it should help mitigate some of our personnel issues today.

Thompson and Jacobs were rested midweek so should be fresh and cause The Gills some problems.

I'm not expecting a clean sheet today though!
