He is going to look very foolish if we don't have some gala signings in the next two weeks, now that he has said that, that's for certain.
He has upped the anti now. Had he not said that and we went on to have a damp squib window, most people would have shrugged. Now the eyes are on him.
It’ll be exciting for him as he'll spend 20 hours a day for two weeks trying to sign a couple of championship reserves on loan. Lots of caffeine.
I would be rather nice if we did sign a striker and they actually scored in their first home game. We are overdue something like that.
