With all the difficulties in getting a striker, it's good to see young Dan Gifford is doing well out on loan. It's a long time since a striker came through our academy to make a first team regular. Chaplin the last one. Maybe Gifford might be the next. It would be good to see him loaned to a League Two team for the first half of next season and see how he develops

Attracting interest from a few clubs too

Maybe DC knew what he was doing when he let so many youngers go who were not going to make it, instead focusing on those younger ones who have a realistic chance of representing the club?
