I know this is not really about PFC, but Watfords revolving door of managers just filled by Roy Hodgson.
Grant Mcann sacked by Hull, two wins back to back. The last game away at second placed Bournemouth.
Would we want the revolving door, or give our managers time to build......like Jackett and the current Incumbents?
We're a good example of the disadvantages of letting a sinking ship sink. Hindsight us a difficult thing.

I would suggest not allowing a manager to dismantle an entire academy structure based on a 3 month trial period. We're in for the long haul now.....
Its finding that fine balance, isn't it. First two years of Kenny we were improving and making strides. But year 3 it was obvious things were declining and we were tortured for another season after that.

You have to give managers time to get it right. You also have to back them even when they seem to be making ridiculous decisions. Its when that point comes when you know they are just not up to it.

Some clubs have a plan that they play with a certain style and will get in a manager to implement that style. Then you have Clubs like Pompey who get in whoever talks the best game from a very shallow pool of out of contract managers. Meaning you have to tear up the squad to match the new managers preferred style.
