26 year old midfielder on loan to Sheffield Wednesday. However, they are cancelling his loan early after poor performances…so he’s coming to us!

Reasonable player but it’s debatable whether we need another midfielder.

Can't have been that poor at Sheff Wed as they picked him for 18 games, and he's played 80 games in the Championship for Boro.  Can't say I've heard of him though.

Apparently it could be non runner as Big Darren wants to keep him at Sheff Wed

Indeed the Sheffield Star is reportng that Wednesday want to keep him, so looks like Smoke was making up the bit about them cancelling his loan due to poor performances just to put a negative slant on our interest.  Why do stuff like that ?

Usual source reckons all of our leads are now dead, all but one of them because we wouldn't meet the valuation, and one because the player wanted assurances they would play? (PL loan)

We only wanted wing because Rotherham were asking too much for Lindsay. Neither player is deemed good enough by a L1 club so why we are supposed to ve excited by this is beyond me.

The word poor does not appear in that article (but I'll grant you it does say he that he had failed to impress this particular journalist) and neither is there any mention of them cancelling his loan and sending him back to Boro ??? Quite the opposite.

This TW follows the pattern of the last one. Release/sell players before we have any replacements lined up. Tell the fans big signings are going to happen and then scramble about looking really desperate for anybody last minute. No wonder we end up with paraplegics. Even the Cowleys themselves were low budget options. 

Meanwhile, Millwall exist comfortably in the championship on gates of £12.5k. Coventry dont owen their own stadium and are doing fine, whilst Luton have passed us by and look to moving to a nice new pad. We get a Disneyland Milton entrance and krap leg room in the north lower.
