Bodes well for Saturday. We know the play offs aren’t gonna happen but we can finish in the top 8

You're kidding. We only have one player that can cross the ball. We have no strikers who can actually errr strike. Our midfield have the thinking time of Boris Johnson (sorry couldn't resist) and our defence can be cut open by a simple ball that everybody watching from the stands can see beforehand.

They worked hard and the commitment is there. It's just that they are not that good really.

This team is L1 outside playoffs at best until Eisner invests or sells.

In relative terms last night was an important 3pts - a few of us are slightly concerned about the trap door

Clearly we have to bumble our way throu the remainder of the season - gonna get worse yet with injuries & suspensions
If Jacobs stays fit and the rest of the team play with the effort from the last 2 games then we’ll be fine.

The next 4 games are winnable.  If we won 5 in a row we would be back in the play-off hunt.

Big if, mind.
I'm not getting carried away but there seems to be enough positives from about all of the permanent signings to expect things to get better slowly or even quite quickly.

If we lose every game we could go down. Every game of football is winnable.
This team performed beyond my expectation when we went on that long unbeaten run but below them since that ended. I still feel we have a semi decent chance of the playoffs if just one of the forwards can start putting a few goals in.
Thats the biggest problem isn't it. And we still don't own any of the strikers so it'll be back to square 1 in the summer. Not great succession planning by the club..

But it was nice to get back that winning feeling yesterday.
Will DC be humble enough to offer Jacobs a new contract?

Of course every game is winnable, but there is no doubt some are more winnable than others.  I'd even describe the next 4 as 'should win' games, which is not what you would say if we were playing someone in the top 3 for instance, winnable though that would be also.
Ask Sunderland fans if they'd consider Bolton, Donny and Cheltenham as winnable  Wink
