Full Version: PUTIN - anything to lose ?

ITV this morning .....  a young lady professing all on the war in Ukraine and suggesting that PUTIN should be ' given a way out' or words to that effect to allow him to exit the war with some credibility !

Oh dear,  I would suggest that the repetitive and constant media reports that he will face WAR Crime charges may only serve to further back him into a corner - seemingly nothing to lose !

He has apparently an arsenal of Thermobaric weapons which are indiscriminate by nature and best described as a 'poor mans nuclear weapon'. If he begins to employ these weapons then civilian casualties will rise to catastrophic numbers.

It would appear the only hope for world salvation will be for an independent and determined group of high ranking military officer to stage some sort of a coup to bring him down while there is still hope. ( I exclude the array of 'ministers' whatever,  who stood listening to him the other day, and LITERALLY frightened to blink when he addressed them. )
Bring on the coup a la Mussolini
ds Any style of blessed Coup - apparently on social media there is talk about Russian multi-millionaires/billionaires putting a gigantic sum on Putin's head. Not sure if it was dead or alive but although pie in the sky ....... maybe - ... we live in hope!
He's got to be eliminated. Surely his generals realise he's a danger to world peace.
The sooner he gets topped the better, it’s long overdue.
Someone need to be a new hero of the Sovi..........THE WORLD !

If you want world peace, then us the US and Israel. Need to stop killing people.

War never stops till the people stop fighting in them....

Rich man's trick.

Media build the anger!....
I try to understand some who feel anger towards the west, over real and perceived injustices in various situations, the tackling of legacy of Western actions. This really is a a case where those people should not be blind to the grave injustices being committed by Putin in Ukraine because of other unrelated issues. By all means be angry at the west, but also be angry at Russia.
This is, in fact, your believe, short sightedness and/or concept of non-alignment. It is about taking positions on the merit of each other. It is about not taking preordained positions in favour of one side or another but instead judging issues independently and then deciding.
Russia is in the wrong. It deserves to be called out for an act of aggression, regardless of how one feels about the West.
On 24th February European order changed. The lights went out all over this continent. They will remain darkened until Ukraine is free.
War never stops till the people stop fighting in them....

It's time the people of the world unite and stop fighting for the people in power, no anger just walk away, stop the media and the ruling class pulling our strings.

Or they will keep getting the angry people, willing to go and kill other people they have never met, for something that is not their fault.
No condemnation of Russia?
Just your usual bland, grey ramblings, cut and paste as usual. Have an original thought for once.

That was me, find what I have said above and show me a link to it being cut and pasted..

And why would I condemn a whole country??.
Yet you condemned 'us, US and Israel need to stop killing people', thhree countries.
Still not condemned Russia. Aren't they killing people too......

Point taken, but when I said the above I said us the US and Israel due to many different leaders over the years, taking us into war.

This is one man Putin the (WEF) puppet, in terms of Russia.

And I condemned all the F*cking Pr*cks who ask, innocent men to kill other innocent men, for the people in Ivory tower.

It amazes me, how people bow down to people in authority and just follow orders like sheep!.

On 3 August 1914 Sir Edward Grey made his famous quote: 'The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our lifetime'.

Cheeky!
I honestly had never heard that quote before...
I was chatting on Friday last with a friend in Odessa and said it to her. Thought it resonated with the situation at the time.
