14 out of contract in the summer so lots of quality decisions needed.
Lots of pocket money needed as well !
does the 14 include loans in, or out?
I think it does.
The loanees are:
Bazunu
Hirst
Walker
Romeo
Carter

Out of contract are (I think)
Johnson (at fleetwood)
Downing (L2 somewhere)
Raggett (we have an option)
Harness (we have an option)
Williams
Thompson
Jacobs (we have an option)
Reeco (we have an option but aren't taking it)
O'Brien

Remaining:
Bass

Ogilvie
Freeman
Robertson
Hume

Tunnicliff
Morrell
Curtis

No strikers contracted

Development squad:
Webber
Vincent
Mnoga
Mingi
Reid

Shit tonne of work to do
We ony have an option on Raggett if we get promoted.  Can't see that happening and a championship team will almost certainly come in for him, so I think he will go whatever we do to try and keep him.

Where did you see that we are not taking up an option on Reeco ? Thought I read the opposite ?

Of the loans the best we can hope for is Carter & Hirst coming back on loan again. Romeo & Bazanu will be in the championship, and hopefully Walker back at Coventry.

Of the out of contract we should try to keep Thompson & O'Brien.  And maybe Jacobs if he is not determined to get away (but will he have played enough to activate his extension ?) And I'd give Harness  his extension to put his price up and then try to sell him.   The rest will surely be be gone.

And I'd have thought the only in-contract player likely to attract a bid is Curtis.  He turned down a move to France last summer, I somehow doubt he would do so again.

The key to next season is signing a decent striker.  Wootton is bound to be a target again, if we could get him Hirst & O'Brien that would be an improvement on this year, but still lacking that experienced Lge 1 striker with a goalscorong record. They are few and far between and when you consider than on paper Marquis is the best of them you realise how hard is it to sign a good  one.
I read on the news website an interview with Cowley saying he would like to keep Reeco but the increase in wages means they are not taking up the option. If Reeco wants to stay, he'll have to renegotiate a new deal.
