24 year old striker from Barnsley, career of 139 games and 9 goals. Better ratio than we got out of Walker?

He should be done under the Trade Descriptions Act with that goal ratio.

Just what we need another non scoring striker , when we ever learn to look at how many gold a striker scores . He’s not suddenly going to start scoring goals now

Hirst did!

The problem was that it took Hirst a very long time to start scoring and when he finally hit form the season ended.

It's fine having 1 striker as a project but we really need a couple of proven finishers that can play DC's system.

I could handle an improving striker on the books, as long as he’s not on loan.

If he forms an initial partnership with whoever then I’d be right chuft at the prospect of making money on a player, in the future.

We’ve got a very good record at losing money, on proven goalscorers, of late.

if we persist or revert to playing one up front there are very few that can do it successfully.
Lets hope we've learnt that don't work and can put two up front, a finisher and a decent all rounder plus a nippy type and we will be ok. perm any two from 3.
