Is instead of using a pre season to gel the squad ready for the season, we are using this pre season to give trialists and kids a go. Also our coaches are fat and out of shape, don't they have any self respect? They look like they can barely walk 5 metres so how can they command respect of the players? They don't get the best out of very limited players that we have.
Look back, we were TOLD by Cowley and those in charge that this pre season would be different - that our signings would already be in place come pre season and the focus would be on really gelling the squad. ANOTHER false promise/ lie.
Anyone who has played at a competitive football level will tell you that you can't just gel as a team after a week, it takes time.
The trialists aren't good enough and neither are the squad we have except for Morrell, Jacobs and Pack.
This next week for the club is massive, it's probably season defining. The club really need 2 or 3 quality signings this week or it could get very ugly. We need 8 or 9 quality signings in total. Any new signings need a good amount of time to gel so the next 7 days are massive.
Maybe it's good we lost then, get everybody's attention and put some more effort and urgency into moving things along

I don't think this defeat will speed things along.
The clowns at the club will probably sign one or two of the trialists to fill some squad numbers sometime this week. They aren't aren't enough players.
Cowley will secretly be very concerned after this defeat.
Derby have signed three quality players now and we are looking at players who are deemed not good enough for Burton and those who failed at Bradford and Kilmarnock.
We need 8 or 9 quality signings because we only have three half decent players as mentioned before. The rest are garbage in challenging for promotion terms.
