Wages have been paid late for the last two months, the first time 'because of the Queen's Jubilee' and the second time because of 'issues with foreign banks', according to their Bahraini owner. Their chief financial officer has resigned from the board, and other staff are considering their futures. No summer signings.
Watch this space, I suspect.
They've got a half decent CB I wouldn't mind signing.
Nothing against Wigan, but the thought of that jug-eared tool James McLean worrying for his future is most satisfying (even if it is just temporary).

No one asking our board to spend millions like Wigan did , they were spending well above there means
Plenty on here have advocated the same.
Our owners could increase our playing budget by 2 million this year without putting the club into debt. That wouldn't guarantee promotion, but would make us more competitive.
It depends if it's out of their own actual pockets as opposed to Loans to the club.

Derby even though they are just out of administration they seem to signing some big names for league one got to be on some big wages.

Why? If the owners are wealthy and feel like they want to maximise the allowed playing budget without loading the club with debt, then that gives us a better chance of promotion. Haven't we been in League One long enough living within our means??

It sounds like ambitious financial management. The BACS payment couldn’t be made to schedule maybe because the money was still accruing interest somewhere else. Cash flow bottleneck.
