No Bass on the bench. On his way out ?
Seems like it

Yep that has been coming since we loaned him out last year.

Not sure how he is supposed to fight for his place when isn’t even in the squad.
Trialist is Terell Thomas
First signs of Griffiths not great. Distribution poor so far and then just palms away an easy shot to catch.
how long til we don't have a single player left from before the brothers arrived?
1-0 half time. Good goal by Reeco after a great pass by Jacobs. Not much else to write home about.
not surprised to hear about a good pass from Jacobs. Very pleased to hear that Reeko finished well, he is the sort of player who gets chances over a season.
An hour in and Westwood and his bloody bell finally makes an appearance shattering the peace!
Pompey win 2.1

It’s a pity we couldn’t transfer him and his retards, they would fit in perfectly with that lot down the road.
We’d have to pay them to take him.
A reasonable performance today. Too many times passed back deep into our own half when in promising positions. Steward made a couple of excellent saves but once again we conceded the equaliser from a corner. Pack looked quality and Tunnicliffe played well when he came on. A decent workout and a win so 7/10 for me.
If we are expecting to outscore our leaky defence then we aren't getting playoffs

Attacking risks losing the ball, pass it back and keep the ball…..

What leaky defence  ?

We still have the core of what was one of the best defences in the league last year.

As long as Griffiths lives up to reputation and one of the right backs is as good as Romeo then we should have a good defensive record again.

Not surprised either! If DC has any sense - doubtful we know he'll look to build the team round Jacobs who we all know can pick a pass.

Just need 2 more strikers now Bishop & Hirst will do fine!
couple of questions.
Did we set up as a four or wing backs?
one up front with a floating ten or otherwise?
make that 3
Where's Raggie?

Back 4 Hajj did okay I thought.
One up front. Pigott didn't get much of the ball but to early to make any judgment on someone who signed so late yesterday.
Not sure about Raggett.
Raggett's done something to his back.  Nothing too serious apparently.

Probably got Barmy’s knife stuck in it.
