Only 19 days left of this TW so who do we think will go, and will we get anymore in?

I think going will be ( obviously) Freeman and Tunnicliffe and maybe Mnonga on loan.

We’ll get a left winger ( possibly EM-C) and I’ve a sneaky feeling another centre back( left footed) or maybe a left back ( cover for Hume?) on loan.
Tunnicliffe seems to have followed his career path to date, shame as he seems to have some skill but can't maintain the effort required to make the most of it.
If Curtis is replaced, the newbie needs to be far more consistent than Ronan. He needs to score just as many goals, be just as committed and be more skillful.

I’d settle for that.
Personally I think Curtis will stay but DC wants a winger. It’s Jacobs that worries me, I don’t see how he fits in now we’ve got Dale and we’re playing 442.
If you follow RC on Instagram you’d think he scored 15 goals on Tuesday. If he was as good as he thinks he is we’d be selling him for £50m

Both are good squad players who give us something a little different coming off the bench.

Marie has said he's staying so you can probably trust her on that. Most likely that no offers actually came in, rather than anything else.

Jacobs could be our super sub this year if he doesn’t start. Would be happy if he stayed but not surprised if he left
Jacobs has had his contract renewed so can't see him leaving.
I’m not saying he’s going I just don’t think he’ll be 1st choice , same as Curtis.

Isn’t that just for a year?

Often a method of getting some money for a player.
I wouldn’t mind jacobs going I think at the time of his contract renewal the pressure was building on the back room staff at the club to do something positive.

I’m Not sure he fits any formation or gets in the team with everyone else fit. He never stays out wide which stops Ogilve coming forward.

The only position I can see him playing is as a 10 in a 4231. But then you have to drop either pigott or bishop and I’d rather then on the pitch the Jacobs.
Perhaps we sometimes forget that we need all sorts in a squad to cover over what is a very very long season?

Jacobs is a No.10 & still our most creative player who can supply the bullets to Pigott & Bishop.

Also, our dead ball specialist.

Are we still capable of playing 3-5-2 or 4-3-1-2?

In certain away games it's more likely to be one up front so 4-2-3-1

I want Jacobs to stay. 42 league games to go, it's a long old season. 3 youngsters have gone out on loan. Toby Steward the Keeper and Alfie Bridgman both played for Bognor on Saturday who are still managed by Robbie Blake. Alfie scored a belter of a goal which won them the game 1.0.  Dan Gifford has gone on loan to Weymouth who are managed by ex league striker David Oldfield. As I understand it if DC wants to include any of them in an EFL Trophy game squad he can recall them for that game.
Jewitt-White loaned to Gosport
Alfie is definitely one to come through. Maybe not this year but certainly next

Alfie scored a goal in Bognor's 6.1 away win at Aveley yesterday.
Thompson's injury must make it possible that Tunnicliffe will be asked to stay
I’m not sure , we still have 5 central midfielders plus Recco, Curtis and Jacobs. Not only that but I’m sure Ogilvie or Rafferty could put a stint in there if required. I’d imagine we need the Freeman and Tunnicliffe fees to fund a left winger plus another player( I still think we need 4 central defenders).

Maybe, but although we have numbers in midfield Tunnicliffe is the nearest thing we have to Thompson in terms of physical muscular presence for those occasions when physicality is important (like playing against a Barton team !)

Personally I'd let him go because we have the numbers to cover Thompson's absence but I wouldnt be surprised if DC changed his mind.
