Very impressed with him. He’s turning into another Ogilvie, in that he just gets on with it in a quiet efficient way.
At one point, he turned up on the left wing (not quite sure how). Didn’t seemed fazed by it and went about the task as best he could.
seems to work well with Dale too
He is the best tackler and blocker we have had at right back for years.

But I’m inclined to agree.
I think he’s our best rt back since Ben Davies.
On another note I’d forgotten that Freeman was on loan to us in 2016 !

Davies was possibly better overall but his strength as a converted midfielder was getting forward, not defending.
I think defensively Rafferty is better than Davies.
I would say he was the best defensively since Greg Halford in the Championship (excluding Haydyn Carter who was only on loan).
