I’ve come to the conclusion after watching several ganes this season that the premier league is a poor league and not the best league in the world as is often said
It’s a boring crock of pooh.
Fully agree! It's over-hyped and the majority of clubs are content to merely avoid relegation.

Too many little clubs with rich owners who've never won anything in their history - Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Brentford, scum and Palace spring to mind. OK, a Pompey lad gave scum their one and only trophy!

Much bigger, more traditional clubs with illustrious histories and passionate fan-bases remain outside the Premier League - Sunderland, both Sheffield clubs, West Brom, Pompey and Derby being the obvious ones.

Still, it's all about earning the right to promotion on the pitch, so let the minnows enjoy their stay in the 'promised land' while they can!
Unless you're going to have a proper go at that league, one visit per generation is enough - just as a reminder that it is shyte, and so the next crop can see for themselves and agree
Back in the olden days, when Pompey had a long run in the 1st Division, the team bonus was based on getting to 35 points. Enough to avoid relegation. There was no bonus for winning anything. Although, if you were lucky, a local tailor might run you up a new pair of trousers. So it seems it was always thus.
I often flick around stop on a prem game, watch some sideways defensive first football and move on. The NFL is more entertaining, especially when they have a proper punch up.
