Qatar workers comments - clueless
Very surprised Southgate has got himself into this.

He is usually squeeky clean and choreographed.
He’s always been a tad thick though
Clever in one way but has foot in mouth disease.
Apparently the England squad are going to invite some of the workers to their training camp so they can "engage with them" ffs. Looks like the Virtue Signalling gold medal is ours for sure.
perhaps they could engage with some British workers earning less than people on benefits get!
The vast majority of migrant workers in Qatar - indeed the vast majority of the Qatari population - come from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and they have no interest in football.

Now, if Southgate was talking about cricket then maybe he would have a valid point?

Let’s be honest neither you or Southgate know whether or not the workers like football.
Yes Gareth. I'm sure the migrant worker with no rights and dependent on his work permit for his livelihood is going to publicly tell the England Football Manager how much he hates football.

Lol there are some real dinlos out there.
I read they had to do 12 hour shifts, 30 days a month (except February!) to earn the equivalent of a pound an hour. Slavery or what?
Surely, whoever is setting this up, is not so utterly naïve to believe they will meet/greet "random" members of the workforce ?

Bespoke selection - of the communist variety will produce some tutored respondents for our team.

Oh England wake up!
