Over the top? I don’t think so. Since the turn of the year Pompey have played 11 games, in all competitions. Their record reads won 4, drawn 1 lost 6. In those 11 games they have scored 0 or 1 on 7 occasions. We can forget automatic promotion and given that Pompey have never won a play off game promotion by any route looks less and less likely. Something has to change.
