Do we have any fit bodies for Friday?

Are we just signing crocks or is it the result of the high press? Shit physio? Bit of a clusterfuck at the moment.
DB bingo cards at the ready everyone
What was Guy Whitingham's remark 'there's something going on' about? Was he suggesting that there's more to all thse 'injuries' than meets the eye?
As I have asked before, "are the fitness and medical staff up to the job?"
Did you get any answers ?
Didn't someone share a clip of Danny getting stroppy when asked about this by Andy Moon?
The only ‘crock’ midfielder we signed was Louis Thompson. Everyone else got injured playing or training.
A combination of the high press and training for the same.
Harry's teams could play and did, and from what we heard all they did was a bit of five a side pretty much.
Harry’s teams were better players as we were in the championship plus he didn’t play a high press game.

A tad harsh on Thompson. It was during a match that he got injured.

Not sure I buy this theory that the high press causes injuries. It's only running.

Most premiership teams play the high press and there has been no increase in injuries there.

Sometimes you just have to accept that injuries are bad luck, and even if players have a history of injury (like Louis Thompson) they can still suffer bad luck like someone breaking their leg.  Someone like Jacobs with a long history of the same injury he is getting now is a different story, but some players are good enough to take a risk on.

Recovery from injury is however something a good medical team can improve.
Thompson was just about recovering from quite a bad injury when we bought him. Cowley admitted as much that if we were trying to buy a fully fit Thompson he would’ve cost a lot more. He is and was a championship player.

And we very sensibly put him on a play as you play contract last season, making the change to a more permanent contract his season after he had proved his form & general fitness last season.  Breaking his leg was just bad luck.
