Nowhere near good enough, Scarlett, what does he deserve his place for, Koroma…. a little bit better but no end product.
Pack played well as did dale , first half
Curtis , we have seen it all before
Bishop, absolutely no service whatsoever.
What the fcuk do they do in training.
The rest ok
Scarlett was ok today.

The wingers were all at fault tonight. No service into the front two.

Dale was man of the match and he deserved that for a blistering first half performance. How many crosses in the second half though?

Scarlett does nothing with service, we may as well play with 10 men.
Service is the issue, same story every season

No, he wasn't. He wasn't even interested.
Hmmm in my opinion ... To say Scarlett wasn’t interested suggests you watched a different game or are blinkered towards him maybe. No end product is the point with him for sure. Bishop is a problem. He can’t hold the ball up and does little around the pitch. Scarlett puts in a shift but needs good service and to be fair, a rest now. Curtis made a difference when he came on. Showed the passion that Koroma doesn’t have.

Bishop the problem?! He’s a goalscorer ffs, that’s his job and when played with Piggot is very good at it.

Scarlett has scored 3 goals and 0 assists this season and starts every game. So he isn’t scoring and he isn’t creating. You may as well pick someone out of the crowd and stick them upfront.

Bishops job should not be to supply Scarlett.
against well organised sides, a battering ram has to have something a little extra or great service.. Scarlett is still learning but I'm sure most of us would be more than happy to see him have a rest and come off the bench.

Watching on the box Curtis added a whole lot to what Koroma offered, at least some energy some runs and some tackles up the pitch,
I don’t have a problem with Scarlett, I have a problem with the nob that keeps starting him.
Scarlett’s not long out of spurs youth team and is new to mens football.

I seem to remember that Cowley didn’t put Azeez in as a regular starter for various reasons -form, protecting a young player etc. He’s now done a 180 on that approach.

And against a Derby team with more injuries than us.
I suggested that Scarlett lacked interest yesterday. On reflection, is it that his confidence is gone?

Probably confidence, I’m sure he’s probably confused as to why he is still starting games like the rest of us.
Staggered that there are some people pointing the finger at Bishop
Wtf did Curtis do well exactly, because he can’t cross the ball for toffee, he is a poor passer and a complete air head with his decision making.
If you want someone to come onto the pitch and run around shaking his arms, then Curtis is your man.
Koroma was better but nowhere near good enough to make the goals to get us promoted
Dale had a great 1st half but faded
Pack is a class player at this level
Mingi did ok and has a good future
Bishop is a great worker and will get goals with decent service
Piggott needs to be given a run in the team .
If we are going to play Scarlett, then play as a front 3 with the others and go for it .
We shouldn’t be accommodating Scarlett, he doesn’t deserve to be starting in any formation. Hopefully he’ll bag a hatrick soon and prove DC right.
as regards Curtis
his stats stack up against anyone else we have used in his time at the club, in a similar position.

Maybe its time to compare him against the others who play in his position in this division especially for us. Who have we had who does better in recent years?

Having said that, it would be a very nice thing to return Koroma in January and bring in someone who is left footed in his place, or even give Hume a run up there. Actually for his lack of attacking threat we might as well play a defender out there and take turns overlapping.

I agree with all that.

As regards Curtis, yes, his stats are very good but, against Derby, he really wasn’t. His decision making was appalling.
thinking about Curtis, he is one of many who don't really make much difference as a sub. Actually Rico is the only one who does usually.
Koroma might but he always starts, ditto Scarlett.
Jacobs makes a difference too but keeping him fit is the problem
The problem with Curtis (and a few other attacking Dinlos) it that it doesn't matter how many players you get past if you don't release the fooking ball afterwards.
When we play it at the back we always make that extra pass so takes an age to switch the ball. What derby did well is it was only one pass when spreading play were we had to make two. Raggett never passes directly too Ogilve
