" Of course, we have a nice long break before Exeter ..... get more players back ..... lots of time to work on set pieces ... everyone aware of plan B if we fall behind after 23 minutes ......... work on playing out from the back.... every player clear on their individual and team duties.... players very  determined and committed to put this right ..,. someone is due for a tanking.... we know we let the fans down ----
...this is a key time of the season..... first  home defeat in ages - look at the Stats ! "

Finally - lots of gallows humour on the way up to Spurs !! PUP

We will thrash Exeter 1-0 on boxing day
We will thrash them 70-30 on possession but lose 0-2

10th in L1
23rd on last 6 games form table
22nd on last 10 games form table

First home defeat in ages! How about we get our first home win for ages?!
We ain’t thrashing no one, however I’d settle for a 1-0 win to us.
I would settle for organisation, desire, effort and passion Nothing less.
And a few slick passes to one of our own side

So long as they can control without it bouncing two yards away...yes.
Or giving it away straight after receiving it. Plus maybe just 2 or 3 passes to get the ball in the opposing half instead of the usual 7 or 8.
Number one, keep a clean sheet.
So don't drop your best out and out defender.
Even the Spanish are ditching tippy tappy now.
Next in the league it's Bolton who are 2.0 up at 10 man Barnsley. The 2nd goal was comical, again caused by a stupid short underarm throw by the keeper to a defender who tried to pass it back and failed. Sheff Wed (2.0) and Derby (3.0) are both winning comfortably at home while Sky say Ipswich are all over 10 man Lincoln.

perhaps lincoln would like their successful manager back
I wish. 10 man Lincoln got a good point in the end 1.1. Bolton won 3.0, Derby 4.0 and Sheff Wed 5.0. All that means Ipswich drop out of the top 2. Long way to go but as always whoever makes the playoffs it will be very competitive
We are now 9 points from playoffs and 9 points from relegation spot.

Oh and Lincoln a point behind us.
Bolton v Plymouth Saturday should be a good game. I'd fancy Bristol Rovers to win at Cambridge, they'll be 6 points above us if they do albeit we will have 4 games in hand
