Christmas greetings from Madeira. Forget dolphin and whale watching. The sport here is Brit spotting. Just seen one wearing a ‘twist & sprout’ t-shirt, slilly hat and shorts about 3 sizes too small. Cringeworthy indeed. At least my wife and I are able to converse in Norwegian to avoid embarassment.

Just for clarification - Cowley's errors? Were they to do with team selection or the twist & sprout t-shirt and tight-shorts?
And agree, we could do with slipping a win in there between the November, December-so-far and January slumps, and the February & March decline.
