probably past his best, off to be a player coach which seems a good move for him and us.
Certainly the young replacement seems an immediate upgrade.
Never once saw Morrison do that Slayer. Always seemed to put the effort in but was past his sell-by date
Ipswich away was a particular standout
Too old, unfortunately.

He made some reasonable contributions and there were often far worse performances than his.
In all honesty he was a bit pants.

Contributed to that awful wobbly back line gifting goals on a regular basis.

Back to Cambridge is a good move for all parties involved.

Morrison's problem was he was brought in to be experienced cover and ended up having to play nearly every week because of injuries all across the back line, and at his age his body was just not up to it. 

He has some OK games early on, but some shockers as the season unfolded, like at Charlton.
