Brown is not coming, so that means that Joe Pigott can demonstrate how good he is, at this level, in the second half of the season.

Reeco isn't going, so that means that Pompey hang on to a player who is just coming good, rather than play them when they're rubbish and then sell them on before reaping any benefit of the development.

With only one up front, we probably have enough.
Scarlett might well come good too, it took about this long for his predecessor to get the hang of this level.
My front 3 for saturday would be Lane, Bish and Recco.
probably, although we don't really know about Lane yet and how he will cope with Fratton Park.

Whoever plays, Barnsley will be as tough as they always are, going to need the crowd making a lot more noise than against Exeter.
Indeed Hammie, and that means before we go one up!
How he will cope with Fratton Park? He coped with it just fine when he nutted against us

Nutted?

He can’t go around doing that at Fratton. I suppose it removes any doubts about him coping though.
