So after a crap nights sleep I am still utterly pissed off at the alarmingly poor way we keep performing. The team just don’t look fit enough, No closing down and complete lack of urgency.
What makes it worse is listening to jackett post match stating the bleeding obvious “how we need to be better in the final third’, “didn’t get the rub of the green”, “how we owe the fans a performance’ etc. etc.
Words are cheap and meaningless if you never back it up. The truth is we all knew at the beginning of the season how this was going to go.
Silence is still deafening from the Eiseners. Showing their true colours now and obviously happy to let things fizzle out like last season and the season before. Typical Pompey finding the only billionaire American who’s quite happy to accept the mediocrity of jackets cluelessness. So sad that to date the only thing we’ve heard is a “back on track” text after we barely hung on at Oxford in a very unconvincing 1-0 win.
Jackett needs to go now. Our rivals have had the balls to make a change. Sunderland and Ipswich and now Doncaster all of these 3 will at least be in the play-offs. How many of us would fancy Guy Whittingham in till the end of the season?
