We've now had a chance to see him have a run in the side, but, unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be improving and L1 defences have got him sussed. He doesn't seem to have a future here.

Never does as well when he starts as when he comes off the bench.

I'd keep him as an impact sub if he is happy to stay to be that, his alternative is probably Lge 2 football.
Regardless of his goals , he’s no better than a squad player but then again we have a few like that.

Well as his primary function is not goal scoring, that is a totally meaningless stat isn’t it? He’s not good enough and needs to be replaced.
He tries bless him, but let's be honest he's L2 at best. If the club wants promotion then they need to dispense with players like him and replace with much, much better.
Be a pretty thin squad. Let’s hope Mickey has big pockets.
In terms of end product, he compares favourably to all the other wingers other than Curtis that we have used in the last few years. As part of a promotion squad coming off the bench or filling in for suspensions and such he would seem a good value option still. Also adds some muscle and enough pace to get past the last man on a regular basis.
His positive stats say a lot about the rest of the squad when you consider that he isn't at the level required to play his way into the Championship
It might help Reeco if he played in a regular spot, he's just a bit of a fill in at the moment, wherever necessary.
Best Pompey player on the pitch, for the opening 15 mins. Then he disappeared, until that late effort.

To go up automatically, we need players who will perform for the majority of the match. Our aspirations have to be higher.

realistically we have to build a play off side first then go from there, as Plymouth have done which is probably our best model given that the relegated sides are given such a massive financial advantage
In the position he plays, goals seem pretty handy to me, especially if you only play one striker.
