Lets get some football debate going again.

I'll kick it off with a Raggett v Rasmus question.

We'd probably mostly agree that Whatmough is our best centre back, but who should be his partner ?  Admittedly we haven't seen him with Rasmus yet, but from what we've seen of him I'm less than convinced that his positioning is good enough, and he gets caught ball-watching. That may improve as he gets more familiar with league one football and his team mates but right now I'd go for Raggett. We know he and Jack can be an effective pairing and he is pretty consistent and generally does what it says on the tin.

And I think the level of abuse Raggett gets on social media reflects badly on the type of supporters Pompey have got. People seem to have a distorted view of what skill level an effective Leage One footballer needs to have.
Rasmush is Downing in a wig IMO
Rasmus needs more game time to show what he can do but is commanding in the air & gets stuck in with tackles. Raggett has more experience but always looks suspect under pressure. I'd probably agree Jack & Raggett are the best pairing at the present with Jack talking him through the game. Rasmus is a good back up & left footed which is also a plus. He should start all cup games to gain more experience.
Unfortunately I think its Raggett.
Only got 2 things against him.
1. He's not very good (L1 or not)
2.He's too ugly for Pompey, should be a scummer with that boat race
I'm with Mikey on that - given a run in the side you'd probably see a better version of Rasmus out there. But Raggett has the shirt and if Kenny wants an old fashioned (industrial) CB alongside Jack, then the current pairing is what we're going to see for the time being.
Jack and Raggett doing ok are they ?
So far so good. If we boss the midfield it shouldn't matter if he have two 5 out of 10 lumpers in at centre half IMO
I'm happy Jack is on the bench
Apparently Rasmus wants out in January if he doesn't get a few starts (according to the Snooze). Would he be that much of a loss?
Rasmus has to bide his time surely , he's not done enough to demand a regular place. Its a bit of a nerve to be putting down this sort of comment a this stage in what is only a fledgling career in this country. I can't imagine Jackett being too impressed with that sort of attitude.

I’d say he would be a loss as he is promising and we must have a back up to the other two but Jack and Raggett are best pairing currently imo.
He'd only be a loss if we didn't replace him. Personally we need a box to box midfielder ASAP
