As for ‘it was sold too cheaply, end of’, if only life were as black and white as that.

It’s a bit like owning a historic old building, if you can’t afford to maintain it you are left with a depreciating asset and it will fall down.

We couldn’t afford to maintain it, that’s the bottom line.

Tornante have obviously spent money on the ground but much of it is not really visible. Their dilemma is whether to stay at Fratton or not and that decision depends partly on commitments from PCC. The fans dilemma is that after three years of Tornante ownership they still have an old ground, a team going backwards and a manager who reduces everyone to Jack Nicholson’s state at the end of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.
Maybe we should all take what nurse Ratched was handing out before listening or watching this shower play next.....
