Today's farce:
Keeper:
Mac - had a mare, no two ways about it. He's kept us in many games lately but we can't expect him to keep doing it. Makes wrong decisions quite often, today made two or three but didn't get much help from his defence, it has to be said.
Defence:
Jack - is not a right back. Is too slow.
Raggettoni - not his usual commanding aerial self but yes his usual faffing about with the ball at his feet
Rasmus - must feel he'd be better off back home. Is strong in the air and has a good left foot but seems to the caught out of position quite often
Brown - disaster today. Shied out of blocks, lost his man, one decent cross all game. Where is the Brown - Curtis tandem which worked so well for so long?

All in all, the defence was shy te. With three strong headers of the ball we managed to concede two goals from corners and won very few crosses, corners etc.

Midfield
Naylor - didn't have a very good day altho' he never hides. His passing is better than last year but that's not saying much
Cannon - at least tries to make things happen but loses the ball too often as they crowd him out
Curtis - not been at his best since Covid but was doing better than most so of course Jackett takes him off, which made him chuckle
Byers - pretty non-existent today. Can play a nice pass but to whom???

Attack
Marquis - the less said the better. He is so frustrating, can't jump, gives away umpteen free kicks and wanders offside or too deep most of the time.
Harness - as usual had two or three excellent runs but little end product. Seems that Jackett has coached the skill out of him!

Subs
White - read comments for Byers
Hiwula - lively but in the end just made two nice runs and missed a relatively easy chance
Harrison - good at League two level, not so sure any higher. Puts himself about but not much else. Very lucky with the penalty too
Bolton- did ok

Management team
Go please, your post match excuses are becoming laughable. This team has skilful players and should be right up there but your tactics from yesteryear and strange teamsheets and man management skills mean that we're gonna spend another year in League one. You never know what your best team or formation is and revert to your defensive formation with one man up (Pitman, Hawkins, Harrison, Marquis) and hoof balls up to 'em. It doesn't work against good teams. You are passionless and therefore unable to motivate. Williams is a case in point. He's no world beater but is skilful, fast and makes things happen. He was playing really well, the team had gone on a really good run and was scoring goals. He's only started 3 of the last 8 games and our form has dropped right off.
They're a fucking joke, Jackett is so deluded it's beyond the pale. Catlin has to sack him then he can sack himself. Sick of these owners, the CEO and the management team. If they don't do something now then it's bloody obvious they have zero interest in the club. Pathetic, we deserve better!!

Agree totally. Yes, Curtis definitely had a chuckle at getting taken off. He was about the only one working his socks off so he got removed. It sums up why the players no longer want to play for jackass... or so it seems anyway.
Dsmg and Forever ?

Nailed on in every respect
Totally agree about Curtis yesterday and Williams overall.
Nichaelson is an accident waiting to happen and both Jack and Raggie must wonder why they are not back together.
Whenever we play three centre halfs together we always seem to suddenly be unable to win headers.
A total mess.
