Zuriko Davitashvili

Georgian under 21 attacking midfielder. Just watched him score a solo wonder goal to knock out Holland under 21s. Also had a goal disallowed (matches screened for free on UEFA tv channnel)

Currently belongs to Dinamo Batumi in the Georgian league, though spent last season on a one year loan to French second division side Bordeaux (they've recently had points deducted to miss out on promotion).

Surely Pompey in the English 3rd tier represents an improvement on the French 2nd tier?

Highly rated in Georgia and already seen as the next Georgi Kinkladze - remember him at Man City when they were skint? Reckon we'd need to be quick to get him before the likes of PSG snap him up!

We wouldn’t be able to get him a work visa would we?

Forget him, we need to sign hans mulder, a 36 year old midfielder for Eredivisie club RKC Waalwijk. We can then have him link up with our new signing, Anthony Scully. With Mulder and Scully in our team we'd be dead certs for promotion - or at least be more aware of existential threats to our existence.
