We look to have quite a few new players keen to get the ball in the box.
Bishop can't do it all in his own so we need another of his calibre to put away 20+ goals.
Plus if either were to get injured we'd have the other to keep banging them in.
Saydee isn't the answer though.
I didn't think Bishop was when we first signed him.
Give Saydee a chance
Stating that we are going to play one up front will make it hard to get a big name in to sit on the bench.
Probably need a nippy type prepared to play "in the hole"

Yes, at the end of the day we had to choose between Pitman or Chaplin, because Pitman's presence in the side was keeping Chaplin out and making him look elsewhere. We probably chose the better short term choice, but it looks stupid now.
We should sign Sam Smith from Cambridge. Proven goal scorer at this level and available on a free.
How about Luke Jephcott released by Plymouth?

Kenny stated clearly at the Solent Forum that he wanted to keep Chaplin. At the same time as he made a pointed comment about his experienced player returning unfit. The one sat next to him and looking very sheepish for a captain.
Looks even more stupid when you consider we spent the 500k on Ellis Harrison.
