And on telly.

Playing well 1st half. Crowd sounds good too
Terrific football. Just missing a goal.
Good 1st half need a goal asap or may get caughtbon the break like Wolves last night.

+ players Robertson, Ogilvie, Poole, Pack

Scully trying hard but Not good set pieces.

2nd half subs Saydee & Yengi.

Milton end looks desolate - Sky game + building work needs completing asap.
Nail-biting stuff.  Amazing misses and amazing saves. Terrific entertainment but after being so much in control for that first half why did we stop playing after Bishop scored?
A really good performance until we went 1-0 up really. A little bit naive in added time when we should have been able to keep the ball better or take a better option to potentially nick a second. I don't think either Whyte or Scully have anything like fully shown what they are capable of yet. Bishop was absolutely fantastic, Poole just looks like he should be playing championship football and of course Robertson showed plenty. Morrell was absolutely everywhere and incredibly on a night of 5 Pompey bookings he was not one of them.

They made attacking subs & JM was slow to react.

Bishop needs more support upfront.

The goal he made & took well on his own.

Need to get more players in the box for better crosses.

The ball and play from sparkes for bishops goal was quality
A very good performance. Plenty of incisive (forward) passing, and getting balls in the opponents box. Lots of options on the bench. Agree with a few dodgy passes when defending the lead.

I think we should have had a pen.

Yes it was defo a pen. Sculley best game so far, but anyone understand why Yengi wasn't brought on?

The situation just wasn't crying out for Yengi tbh. Bishop led the line fantastically well and Saydee's strength was in theory more useful to see the game out. He iukd have come on instead of Kamara perhaps.
Solid performance - but we need to learn to keep the ball & see the game out.

Exeter free kicks & corners were dangerous - a lot of ours seemed "powder puff" in comparison - that needs sorting quickly.
Lowery out for up to 5 months. That might require some more transfer activity potentially. Devlin Stevenson and even Shaughnessy are centre mid options but I wouldn't mind another in that area.
New wingers disappointing and Robertson looks light weight in size and delivery.
Whyte disappointing. Scully getting there. I thought Robertson showed he’s going to be a proper player in years to come. Couple of nice little cameos but not ready for 90 mins in league 1 yet. Place on the bench for me.
Bossed the game for 75 of the 90, but injury time was far more laboured than it should've been.
Game management needs to be looked at but a thoroughly deserved 3points and still more positives than this time last year despite Cowley protestations about positives.
Scully looks a right scally and a player who is ideally suited for Pompey.
Right wing was not at the races today but apparently set up two on Saturday, so a winger then.
Set pieces do need some work.
Bishop is crying out for someone to be available for him to lay the ball off to.
Defensively pretty good, Ogilvie was his normal solid self.
Keeper did well.
Our players need to read the new rules on "dark arts" as they got obvious yellows for just what they were told they would. Pack was lucky that the ref did not see him waving a card in the air.
Players were running out of gas not surprising as they squeezed Exeter out of the game in the first half.

Bit lucky not to concede a pen for Ogilvies shirt pulling on Sweeney but that foul on Kamara in the box was so blatant it was funny.

Three of the bookings were needless, and corners terrible. Both need sorting urgently. But overall a promising performance.

Are you on a wind up?? If not this is the biggest load of bollix I’ve read on here for a while and that’s some competition.
Let's see shall we.
