A formation with 8 out of the 11 having defensive roles is not likely to solve the problem we faced yesterday. I'd be happy to play that away from home though.
And I'm not sure Rafferty has the pace to play wing-back, Swanson would be better.

I don't want to see an striker end up like Michael Smith, affected by our "support" so badly that he could no longer shoot at the Fratton end.

He was also fat and useless when we signed him…..
I’m totally fine with 4-5-1 until it’s clear it’s not working. It only takes one defender subbed off for Yengi or Saydee and then it can become a 3-5-2. The ability for Mousinho to change things is there for him if he deems it right to do so. On that note I think Saturday was a missed opportunity
