Great to see/hear the player's parents becoming Pompey supporters

I thought Lane has had two good consecutive games for us and, against Barnsley, he showed signs of steady improvement. I struggle to see a position for Whyte when everyone else is back fit again.

That's the really good thing with this squad. Under perform and there is a player pushing for your place. Having said that, Whyte might not look so flash as the likes of Dale, but he does manage to be consistently involved in goals.
