Jackett is like a wounded animal right now and the most humane thing to do would be to put him out of his misery. However, our clueless owners and CEO just bury the hands in the sand. Do they seriously think the Beaver is worth keeping until the end of the season? Surely they don’t think he should be given a chance to turn this season around??? Wake the f**k up from Christ sake, it ain’t going to happen! Action is needed now, not at the end of the season. If not, the next 12 games are going to be excruciatingly painful to watch. We might as well surrender each game now, give 3 points to the opposition and be done with it.

The way out of our current predicament is attacking football, we now have absolutely nothing to lose.
Jackett doesn’t know how to attack, it’s not in his DNA.
That being the case, he needs to go NOW.
The players like the fans have had any spirit or enthusiasm bored out of them by the last four seasons of dross. Needs a completely new set up with the right positive approach on the pitch and some fucking ambition for the club off it. "Eat what you kill" indeed. We're dining on road kill with this lot.
I didn't bother watching yesterday's game and right now I have no desire to watch Pompey any more this season. I don't expect anyone else to feel much differently.
We don't even have a crap side, it's just insipid. These players could trounce every other side in the division. To be outplayed by such an ordinary Sunderland team was very demoralising. Jackett should go.
Listening to Whitts it just seems there’s a total lack of coaching. The players just don’t know how to read the game, get into good positions (he’s always going on about gambling in the box), or generally play as a team. There have been two instances in the last two games where nobody in the team has even bothered to shout the very basic ‘Man on’ when somebody is challenging from behind. It’s all such basic stuff that he’s had nearly four years to sort out. Please just go or Catlin grow a pair and get rid.

The only reason I knew it had gone to extra time was when the result didn’t come up after 90 minutes. I only knew we’d lost when I saw Cressers’ ‘well that was excruciating’ post.
I can only see my enthusiasm returning when Jackett ceases to darken our door.
He has sucked all the enjoyment, enthusiasm and entertainment out of it, he’s like a dark winter that never ends. He’s got about as much charisma as that Mark Drakeford geezer (the one who won’t rule out curfews for men ffs).
The players don’t seem to give a toss now either.
When I see that unsmiling cardboard cutout disappearing down Frogmore Road for the last time, it will be Champers all round.
Jackett kills hope, without hope we have nothing.
A shame really- we could have gone in the books as the holders of a trophy for the longest and shortest periods.
He's on a par with Paul Hart for negative uninspiring boring managers. Safety first. I cannot stand the man. If he gets his contract renewed that's it for me, I shall be done with Pompey until they get rid of him.
