Not sure that most promotions increase income.
You get an extra £3m off the bat for being in L1 vs L2. That's before you take into account any increased gates or tv money etc.
You get about an extra £6M for being in the Championship vs L1.
That could easily be a game changer then.
6M wouldn’t go very far in the championship though, would it?
An extra £6 million obviously helps as all the championship clubs make a massive profit.
