My worry is that if we don't go up this year next season will be harder. Wrexham and Stockport will be strong, Charlton and Wigan will be much improved and the three relegated teams will be up there
This is more than a blip, because even until this latest bad run, we have never been really convincing. Basically we are not burying teams even when winning.
The reason is simple. We have no real strikers of any menace. Bishop can score penalties, mostly, but is shot shy in the box. Without a real strike force we have been found out eventually. Teams can relax when we play. Real money has to be invested to pose a threat to this league, let alone dreams of becoming a Championship side.
