0-0 so far. Sounds like we may be playing the old 4-2-3-1 looking at the line up with just Marquis up front. Anyone watching on ifollow who can confirm the formation. If still 0-0 at H.T. I'd like to see Harrison on with Marquis in 4-4-2. I think Pring deserves to come on as well after a good performance on Saturday.
Yes I agree, Harrison definitely needs to come on for Williams who has been poor. Curtis not at his best today either, maybe bring on Hiwula. McG, Raggett and Whatmough playing well so far.
No shots on target, struggling to break down 4-3-3 opposition. Think we have been sussed. Defence playing very well and might get us a point more than we deserve.
Just gone 4-4-2 with Harness going into Curtis' slot and Harrison up top. At least he is changing it
Yes, Good change to 4-4-2. KJ is starting to be more positive.
Oh No gone 1-0 down now PUP.

Absolutely dire. No commitment, no cohesion. Another jacket disaster leaving a goal scoring winger on the bench and bringing on an extra left back. Sat could be 2000 fans calling for his head haha. Curtis, harness, Marquis, Cannon,Williams all dreadful tonight. The cost of not winning promotion this season will be the loss of half the squad. We cannot afford to fail.
More than half the squad aren't good enough - so that might well be a plus.

Haha hadn’t thought of that

Pompey were so poor tonight, and this painful performance showed up everything you needed to know about Jackett, and why he has to go whether its now, January or the end of the season. The first half was poor enough but the second half was simply wretched. OK we defended well enough with Raggett and Whatmough doing a good job but there was absolutely nothing happening going forward. There was no link-up with midfield, no cohesion, no movement, no threat, no width whatsoever. What little life there was in the performance came from Cannon who was taken off early in the second half. We clearly went defensive 2nd half presumably Jackett looking for a point . There was the familiar gaping great gap between midfield and the forwards and from then on we just lost control of the game.
Blackpool were made to look far better than what they really are which is a mid-table side.
Have to agree. And also ask why Hiwula didn’t get 20 mins instead of pring. He might as well go back to Coventry or wherever if jackets going to treat him like this.
1-0 about right on that showing. They were better, we were sussed, kept our two flair players quiet, Marquis marked himself out of the game again, high press from Blackpool, no time on the ball.
