The oldies among you will remember the WBA three degrees (Regis, Cunningham and Batson) of yesteryear. Well we have our own now and they all scored on Tuesday.
Dsmg, lights blue touch paper and backs away.
Is that unprintable???
Cyrille, Laurie and Gordon!
Would you have worked it out that way around?
Not unprintable but probably unacceptable by today’s standards. BTW I’m not offended just pointing out.

I remember watching WB knocking us out and then going on to win the FA Cup.
Was it Mark Hateley's dad Tony playing then?
Jeez. Really?

No, that was Jeff Astle & Tony " Bomber" Brown.

I remember that game well, it was in 1968 I think and the crowd was 42,000+.

Well,if they carry on scoring like the original trio then I'll be happy.

I think Jeff Astel has dementia before he died (Boxers brain at the time)

Cyrille, Laurie & Brendan wasn't it?
I've got a mate (admittedly I haven't seen for a few years as we've both moved away) who used to play for QPR back in the 80's. He tells some great stories from back then. He had some good mates down here and used to hang around with 3 Pompey players in particular because they were good lads and they actually called themselves The Three Degrees. I believe from memory they were Vince Hilaire, Noel Blake + AN Other, can't remember the 3rd lad. If I ever catch up with him I'll ask him.
In the meantime suggestions on a postacard(?)
Paul Hall?
Must have been Terry Connor I think

Yes, Jeff Astle had dementia, IIRC his family have set up a foundation for former footballers suffering from dementia,  mainly due to heading those old heavy leather footballs.

Interestingly both Ron Saunders & Ray Hiron along with many other centre forwards  & defenders suffered from the same terrible disease.

Paul Hall would have been too young I think Bill. May have been Terry Connor, not 100% sure though  Huh
Too young and too not at the club.
Before Mark Chamberlain as well.

And Kenny Black.
