Anybody know what's going on ?!!! I thought we had a new manager. Usually by now there are interviews everywhere with the incoming man or men in our case. Is Danny Cowley our new manager or is it all a hoax ? I want a press conference and I want it now !!!!!!
I was thinking the same. Seems to me that the insistence on a 12 week contract is holding things up. He must be in demand. If he s the right one appoint him properly, if not look elsewhere.

Becoming a very strange situation. He supposedly took training today but I am doubting that really happened as there is not a sound out of Fratton Park. Gallen staying on... there may be trouble ahead..... more like Marx brothers than Cowley at the moment.

As I said originally, any manager worth his salt may well think that a short term, let’s see what you can do contract, rather than a three year contract is a bit of an insult. If you know what you want you should have the confidence to offer a three year contract. If you are not sure do not bring them in at all.
I can’t see the problem with it, let’s see what they can do, I’m sure they have a clause that if they meet certain criteria they will get a contract. If you take on a new position it always subject to a probation period, so why should football be any different. If they are confident in their ability then they should be confident that a long term contract is waiting for them
