A more serious point, I do wonder if the Cowleys would opt to keep him unless they can coach him to pass quick and short to someone better equipped to pass it forward.

He had a key role under the previous system but he doesn’t fit this one so well. Could become a squad player if we can pick up a better suited one in the summer. I admire his efforts this season and make him player of season but we might be looking to move on now.

Nice to see the Cowleys prepared to sub anyone off too. No favourites for the rest of the season I suspect. Feels like they realise autos are gone and its time to start looking ahead, and perhaps resting some legs for a play off campaign.
