Sensational game.
Football's coming home?
Wake up call.

There’s a small matter of Denmark to get out of the way before we start getting concerned about that methinks.

I’ve said all along that Italy look the best side in the tournament, if we beat Denmark and Italy we will definitely be worthy winners.

It was a good game, maybe even a very good game but i thought the BBC (and Danny Murphy in particular) went way over the top in describing it as the best game for years.

For me there were too many mistakes, too many misses, too many terrible examples of distribution from the keepers for it to be a classic, and only one team playing to their best - and that was not the eventual winners.

If England get there not sure I can see them beating the Italians except on penalties - they just look so hard to beat.
it was one all. Both teams let in one goal, both teams failed to turn possession into clear chances etc etc
a decent game but not quite as amazing as they tried to paint it.
and some of the goalkeeping wandering about was quite exciting on its own.
