Really good performance and result. Curtis going down off the ball is a worry. Morrell needs to walk past the rest of the team while they boot him up the ars.

A gritty performance, worked hard and were resilient. Very happy to see the Pig get a chance and a goal. Even when passing backwards we were looking to get it forwards, if that makes sense!

I’d be pleased to see Pigott come good but I’ve not been impressed with any performances from him so far. He really couldn’t miss last night.
I certainly don’t anticipate him being able to be a loan striker.

If you don't see him as a lone striker, and I don't either, then why not pair him with Bishop, who isn't really a lone striker either.
Scarlett is an interesting one. As a former Oxford defender, the manager wil know how to keep Scarlett out of the game. It will be interesting to see if he can provide the coaching he needs to overcome his current difficulties at this level.

Bishop is probably the best example of a lone striker and he had a very good game yesterday.
433 doesn’t accommodate Pigott. What does he do? He doesn’t provide and he doesn’t score above 1 in 10. He has no pace and he falls over. Send him back.
I’m disappointed Pigott and Scarlett are still here.

To be fair to Piggott it’s not his fault that he can’t play in a 433 role. He was a DC loanee and he hadn’t a clue where to play him either although TBH DC didn’t know his arse from his elbow.

There’s obviously a goalscorer in there. It’s a question of playing to his strengths but with Bishop doing well it will probably have to be a bit part
