RE: Team Tonight - dsmg - 24-01-2023 Get in, Bish and the Pig RE: Team Tonight - mikey393 - 24-01-2023 2-0 Piggot RE: Team Tonight - Northstander - 24-01-2023 Pigott following a Pack corner, get in RE: Team Tonight - dsmg - 24-01-2023 Great header from Towler, had a great game RE: Team Tonight - Northstander - 24-01-2023 Newcastle 1.0 up down the m27 lol RE: Team Tonight - Northstander - 24-01-2023 Scummers goal disallowed Lol RE: Team Tonight - Hammie - 24-01-2023 Really good performance and result. Curtis going down off the ball is a worry. Morrell needs to walk past the rest of the team while they boot him up the ars. But suddenly our season is alive again. and our team is fun to watch, RE: Team Tonight - mikey393 - 24-01-2023 Great result with 10 men. Play offs within reach again now! A late run to 6th and who knows! RE: Team Tonight - Pompeyg100 - 24-01-2023 A gritty performance, worked hard and were resilient. Very happy to see the Pig get a chance and a goal. Even when passing backwards we were looking to get it forwards, if that makes sense! Silly sending off but good to be back in the top half. RE: Team Tonight - TBP - 24-01-2023 Great night for us Pigott fans. RE: Team Tonight - Pompeyg100 - 24-01-2023 (24-01-2023, 09:50 PM)TBP Wrote: Great night for us Pigott fans. Or is everybody a Pigott fan now? RE: Team Tonight - TBP - 24-01-2023 Good to hear that lacklustre players are coming good when used correctly. RE: Team Tonight - dsmg - 24-01-2023 Pigott scores a cracker from a yard! Always said he was class RE: Team Tonight - Cunninglinguist - 25-01-2023 I’d be pleased to see Pigott come good but I’ve not been impressed with any performances from him so far. He really couldn’t miss last night. I certainly don’t anticipate him being able to be a loan striker. RE: Team Tonight - dsmg - 25-01-2023 He is a loan striker Cunni RE: Team Tonight - Cunninglinguist - 25-01-2023 (25-01-2023, 05:52 AM)dsmg Wrote: He is a loan striker Cunni Chuckle Lone! Bloody predictive text! At least that’s my story… RE: Team Tonight - TBP - 25-01-2023 If you don't see him as a lone striker, and I don't either, then why not pair him with Bishop, who isn't really a lone striker either. Scarlett is an interesting one. As a former Oxford defender, the manager wil know how to keep Scarlett out of the game. It will be interesting to see if he can provide the coaching he needs to overcome his current difficulties at this level. RE: Team Tonight - Cunninglinguist - 25-01-2023 Bishop is probably the best example of a lone striker and he had a very good game yesterday. 433 doesn’t accommodate Pigott. What does he do? He doesn’t provide and he doesn’t score above 1 in 10. He has no pace and he falls over. Send him back. I’m disappointed Pigott and Scarlett are still here. RE: Team Tonight - bluetagagain - 25-01-2023 To be fair to Piggott it’s not his fault that he can’t play in a 433 role. He was a DC loanee and he hadn’t a clue where to play him either although TBH DC didn’t know his arse from his elbow. RE: Team Tonight - dsmg - 25-01-2023 There’s obviously a goalscorer in there. It’s a question of playing to his strengths but with Bishop doing well it will probably have to be a bit part RE: Team Tonight - Pompeyg100 - 25-01-2023 We can’t send him back unless Ipswich agree to it which I doubt they would. RE: Team Tonight - Cunninglinguist - 25-01-2023 I think you’re right. They know he’s shit too. |
