‘The RMT has burdened the railways with completely unnecessary costs……’ ermm, I don’t suppose the disastrous Tory privatisation and it’s nice little payouts to shareholders may have cost the public way more Guff?

But Gaff, when you had the opportunity to turn your boiling piss down to a light simmer, you decided not to.

"Labour will deliver improvements for rail passengers by bringing our railways back into public ownership, using options including franchise expiry. This will enable us to make fares simpler and more affordable, rebuild the fragmented railways as a nationally integrated public service, cut the wastage of private profit, improve accessibility for disabled people, ensure safe staffing levels and end driver-only operation.

Our publicly owned rail company will steer network planning and investments. It will co-ordinate mainline upgrades, resignalling, rolling stock replacement and major projects. We will implement a full, rolling programme of electrification. Our model will ensure continuity of skills, jobs and supply chain capacity to reduce costs, improve productivity and support the economic benefits of Labour’s Green Industrial Revolution"

There’s a whole other room for this shlt you utter bore.

Can everyone just stick to the football.

RE: Eisner interview - firqdays - 24-10-2021

My take is Hammie/DMSG that our Mr E is, first and foremost, a businessman, and althiough I keep harping back to it he never tempted votes by promising to chase promotion by throwing money at it.
Let's be optimistic a good (unbeaten) November - move on in the cup - and yes, chase that January away day in the Premier north-west and fill the coffers!

RE: Eisner interview - Hammie - 24-10-2021

Totally agree Firq
He is running the club in a business like manner.
If all clubs had to be run in the same manner or face sanctions such as no relegation or cup finals, all our clubs would be safe AND the best managers would win things rather than those at the clubs most prepared to gamble with their future.
