How is that going to make any difference unless money is collected?

I was just thinking the same thing Jiz.

We are in an era of ‘gesture politics’.

Vigils, taking the knee etc. None of them make a blind bit if difference.

Presumably in this case there will be some sort of collection though, so some good will hopefully come of it.  Smile

How many people actually paid for the ice bucket challenge a few years back (it was in aid of Motor Neuron Disease in case you forgot/didn't know)?  I know many people who did it and loved being filmed so their FB fwends could see it, but to my knowledge not one of them put their hand in their pocket and contributed.

Guff says above it's gesture politics and he couldn't be more wrong. It's virtue signalling pure and simple.

The cynic in me thinks it may help to boost sales of our 3rd choice kit!

If so, do PFC plan to donate any of the proceeds to charity?

Clubs already avoid wearing their proper colours far too much of the time. As mentioned, yet another gesture.
