Player ratings v Sunderland - Cunninglinguist - 22-01-2022 Bazunu. Did nothing wrong. 8 Hackett. Worst performance I've seen from him. Constantly lost possession. Can't defend. 5 Robertson. Not terrible. A few rusty moments but ok. 7.5 Raggett. Every bloody where. 8 Carter. Faultless........ until...........7 Romeo. Much better performance. 7.5 Thompson. Didn't really understand why he was replaced. 7.5 Morrell. Back to his best. Faded a bit in second half but probably knackered after the first hours effort. 8 Harness. Prodded and probed but never quite broke through. 7.5 Curtis. Well off par. Almost a catastrophe in first half. 6 Walker. Still improving nicely. I'll judge him properly when he actually gets some service and a chance. Hirst. Was instrumental in Pompey's threat when he came on. 7.5 Williams. I was doubtful when he came on but he proved me wrong. A good player who can only perform for a part of a game now. 7.5 Jacobs. Why isn't he on from the start? Play four at the back until we get a proper wing back. 8 RE: Player ratings v Sunderland - Hammie - 22-01-2022 Thompson, sub ? I'm guessing that is related to his fitness record? RE: Player ratings v Sunderland - ForeverPompey - 23-01-2022 Interesting marks. I am at a loss to see though how a player that apparently cost us all 3 points gets a 7. Williams is never better than a 5 as he is inconsequential. Romeo is becoming a massively overrated player who has delivered nothing in the final third. Then there is Hirst who missed a sitter which any half decent centre forward would have scored. Seriously, this is a desperate team.
