You’ve got to love kenny. Losing one nil so he reverts to the lone striker to wave the white flag. Pathetic performance and makes winning next two games massive or top 2 will suddenly be a lost cause.

Pompey have gone totally awol. One of those shambolic performances that sadly we have become all too familiar with, on occassions, over the years. Just have to pick themselves up and start over. Not much time to get this out of the system before next game but they have to do just that.

Humiliating performance with brainless decisions again from the manager. Seems we have gutless players but at least we’ve signed a left back to paper over all the cracks... crucial next 2 games. Win both and forget today.. lose both and hit the panic button

The real worry is whether this shambolic and embarrassing performance heralds the onset of one of Pompey’s infamous new year declines. I know it’s irrational, based on one performance, but in the aftermath of that truly awful performance Pompey’s squad doesn’t look that good!

Poor performance, but we're still in the mix. Can't understand the Close/White substitutions and why Hiwula wasn't on the bench. Too many players didn't turn up today. Poor.

I don’t think there was a single position on the field where we weren’t second best to Hull before and after the strange subs Jackett trotted out.
Why on earth did Jackett and Catlin sign Hiwula ? KJ obviously doesn’t rate him as a L1 player and money is supposedly tight, was there anybody watching or listening who was surprised when Harrison came on...and that he didn’t score.
We must hope that Pompey have got this seasons woeful performance out of the way today and we can get back to business as usual, and still grab an automatic.
The Lincoln and Charlton games have suddenly taken on an increased importance, 4 points an absolute minimum, our goal difference took a bit of a knock back this afternoon so we can’t necessarily rely on GD to come to our rescue

Is that the best Harvey White can bring? Looks like a little boy lost at the moment. Cannon is by far the better player. Harness appears to have given up playing.

Jackett defies belief sometimes, as most posters on here agree. Which players have been key to our performances in recent weeks, answer: Cannon and Williams. So which players does he take off at half time today?
The way he is treating Hiwula is disgraceful. Not even on the bench today, surely he should have come on at half time today to add some pace and verve to the attack. What does that sort of treatment do to a young player?

Young player ??? He' s a 26 year old journeyman rescued from the jobcentre. Please don't elevate him to superstar just because he wasn't picked for the bench today.
Jackett got the subs badly wrong today in that he took the wrong players off (assuming there were no knocks or anything else we don't know about), but at least he recognised the need to make changes early which he often doesn't.
I thought Harrison looked our best player after he came on though.
