It does seem like we have a few bogey teams.
Charlton and Oxford have always been a thorn in our side, then there’s Chelsea who we can never beat no matter how good a side we have.
I think we’ve won too many things, not to mention surviving when by all logic we should not have, to be cursed.
Wouldn’t hurt to get the place exorcised though

I thought at the time that they dug up the old pitch, together with tons of dead faithfull´s ashes that were scattered thereupon..this won´t end well.

I certainly think we are in terms of redeveloping or developing a new football stadium. You look at all that available land that was available at FP in the last 20 years and we still got nothing. Then there's the copious new stadium plans like Farlington, North Harbour, the Airport or, my favourite, the Buck Rogers Stadium in the Solent! And all we have to look forward to, and be apparantly grateful for, is a North stand with krap leg room, a disneyland merchandise stand for the milton end entrance, and a south stand that players can no longer fall head first into.
No wonder everyone went mad with the new Fratton End when it was built. Our expectations are so low that a stand with working toilets was deemed impressive. Even that one only ended up being finished coz the local builders/tradesman finished it for free (as I remember it anyway) coz we were bankrupt (again).
Unless you've got a pair of huge, hairy big bollocks that don't itch, I'm convinced the only thing you can build in Portsmouth is houses, flats and supermarkets.

I think we could be cursed especially with injuries, first of all Williams now it looks like Freeman could be out for most of the season .
