What was that about? The camera was quick to pick up on it but didn't show what led to the handbags being thrown.

I think Curtis wound both their players and crowd up throughout. They probably thought he made a meal of getting their man sent off. Chatting to Shrews older fans after, they blamed the ref for not stopping the game before their red card as a man was down. Was he put down by Curtis perhaps?

It was Romeo who put their man down. Quite an innocuous challenge too.
Not the refs fault. The rules say he has to blow for a head injury but not for anything else.
Apart from his usual wind up as actions, I thought Curtis got some rough treatment. He got well and truly clattered from behind, when going up for a header. The tackle from behind, for the red, was quite hideous.

Love it when he bangs the ground in agony then gets up and winks. He did take a few heavies yesterday though. He’s pretty obnoxious in the way he’s in the ref’s ear all the time but you can’t fault him for effort. Glad he’s on our side.

He could have put the ball out his self but chose to make a forward pass instead and only collapsed when we intercepted it. You can see why the Ref played on.
